New Requirements/Process for School Volunteers

The District has implemented a new process for volunteering at school. Please click here to learn more.

Montair Dads Club- Lunchtime volunteers

Matt Alberti is organizing a group of volunteer fathers or father figures who are interested in coming to help out at recess. Whether you have a ton of flex time or just a little you can get involved and make a big impact in the life your kid, check out this informational letter describing this program for more information.

Montair Dad's Event

We just had our first Donuts for Dads and our Muffins for Moms Breakfast events.  Over 200 people came to each of these events to make new friends, enjoy pastries, and build community. Many thanks to our Montair PTA for hosting these events! And many thanks to Matt Alberti for dreaming up these events and for organizing the Montair Dad's Club. If you would like to join the MT Dad's Club, email at montairdads@gmail.comDads at school

It’s never too late to volunteer at Montair! We still need your help to support our school!!

Montair School depends on parents to lend "helping hands" in a variety of ways. Your involvement benefits both your child and Montair.

Montair Yard/Lunchroom Duty

Volunteering for Noontime Yard Duty is incredibly important for the safety of our children on the play yard.  If you are interested in volunteering, you must have signed up through our Volunteer Management System. Then come by and sign in at the office and check in with the office staff.

Yard Duty Procedures:

1.  When you arrive for duty, please go to the office and sign or initial by your name in the Yard Duty Binder and select a vest and lanyard to wear before going to the lunchroom.   Duties begin in the MPR area before moving onto the play yard.   Our lead Noon Supervisors, Jill Bates and Beth Holroyd will help assign areas for you to monitor.

2. Lunch begins at 12 in the MPR, moved outdoors from 12:20-12:55 and then back in the MPR until 1:15pm.
3.  Please read the updated rules for lunchroom and playground conduct. The rules are in the Yard Duty Binder in the office.  Playground rules are also posted online.
